Vibrant ruby red in colour with an intriguing bouquet of florals, dark cherry and white pepper. Red fruits carry through the palate, enriched with subtle spice for a prolonged savoury finish.
Shiraz vines were planted at Spring Vale in 2014. 2017 saw the vines producing a healthy crop of fruit which was left to slowly ripen to the flavour profile we desired for the production of a Shiraz Rosé. The fruit was destemmed into 500kg bins to soak on skins for 2hrs, after which it was gently pressed, then the juice clarified using floatation. After fermenting close to dryness the wine was stabilised, filtered and bottled.
